The aim of designing a this questionnaire was to gain information from our desired target audience, reflecting opinions of contemporary horror films. By gathering this information, its has helped our film opening successful, as we know what our Target audience enjoys. In addition, we found that the majority of 17-20 year olds watch horror films on a monthly basis and are pleased when a horror film trailer leaves then in suspence, resulting in them being more interested in the film. There is a vast range of preference between sub genres of horror, the most popular being psychological and Supernatural. Furthermore, we found that out target audience expects certain aspects within a horror film, such as; blood, violence, gore and and element of realism.
